Howdy. My name is Andrea.

I am a User Experience Architect. I plan and structure the content, navigation and interactivity of websites and applications to ensure a positive user experience that supports and delivers my clients' business goals. In plain English, I am like an architect who designs blueprints for buildings.

Using a house as a metaphor, my job is to ask you, the client, what it is you are looking for in a home. How many bedrooms? How many bathrooms? How much square footage? These are the quantitative considerations that allow me to determine your utilitarian needs. I also gather other information before diving right into my design. Do you or will you have children? Do you plan on hosting a lot of guests? Do you work from home? Do you have pets? These are the qualitative considerations that help me make your home comfortable, regardless of the situation.

As a User Experience Architect, my job is to get a holistic view of my clients' business goals, both short-term and long-term, identify their users and create a website or application that delivers those goals in a user-friendly and relevant way. Period.

UX Philosophy

Great design cannot be accomplished in a vacuum. It is not just about the business goals and it is not just about the user. It is about both. And it is that understanding on which successful and profitable websites and applications are built.
